NIE Cita previa Barcelona

In order to initiate the NIE application process in Barcelona at the main office in Rambla Guipuzcoa, 74, Barcelona, you must first schedule a or prior appointment (cita previa), at the immigration office in Barcelona.

You can easily schedule your NIE appointment on their website, provided you have a basic understanding of Spanish.

Begin by selecting Barcelona from the first window, and then choose Certificados UE (for EU passport holders) from the second window. Fill in your personal and contact information, and you will be presented with available dates and times to select for your appointment. Upon final confirmation, an appointment confirmation will be sent to your email if you check the appropriate boxes.

As appointment slots are limited each week, a message may appear stating:

“En este momento no hay citas disponibles. En breve, la oficina pondrá a su disposición nuevas citas“
(At this moment, no appointments are available. Shortly, the office will provide new appointment slots).
